Unblended Young Producer Chiroso Washed

We're excited to share this coffee through the work Unblended has been doing in Colombia to invest into the next generation of coffee producers! Unblended's mission is to make coffee farming an exciting and viable path for young people in Colombia through mentorship, training, and helping producers build their own brands in international markets.

This lot was the work of 20+ young producers through Unblended's Young Producer Lot under the mentorship of Elkin Diosa, fermented in cherry for 48 hours in open tanks then depulped and washed. Under Diosa's mentorship, they began to learn about processing, and this lot marks one of their very first harvests.

Flavor

The end result of this processing is an incredibly clean cup with notes of orange blossom, dates, and honey-like florality with candy sweetness and aroma.
