Bekele Kechara Ethiopia

Ethiopian coffees traceable to single smallholder farms aren't common yet in the U.S. market, so it's an honor to bring Bekele Kechara's coffee onto our lineup. Bekele is a quality-focused producer whose farm in Murago at 2350 meters produced the 15th place Cup of Excellence coffee in 2022. His eldest son and fourth child, Belaye, manages his drying station in Murago where he produces primarily natural and anaerobic natural coffee.

This coffee is a treat as we get the juiciness and acidity of nectarine that morphs into a pink bubblegum note and ends with red florals like hibiscus and rose.

This natural processed coffee was collected from Murago farm, floated, and sorted, and dried in full sun for 22 days.
